Abstract:
The invading hyphae of Glomus
clarum produced appressoria on the root
surface of watermelon and soybean at 5 and 9 days after
inoculation respectively. The vesicles were found in cortical
cells of watermelon at 6 days after inoculation and reached
abundance 2 days more. The external mycelium developed and
produced spores 10 and 19 days after inoculation of watermelon
and soybean respectvely.
